Six and Twenty Heirloom Rye Vodka – Crafted by Hand & Heart
Six & Twenty, a craft distillery in South Carolina, sought to rebrand their vodka. The existing label design felt too slick and while following market leaders and visually in line with competitors in the category, didn’t capture the essence of the brand. Inspired by the heritage of the vodka, I set out to highlight its origins for the new design. Crafted with pride from South Carolina-grown Black Seashore Rye, the vodka is distilled 12 times, pouring their heart and soul into every batch, barrel and bottle. The simple yet bold illustration of seashore rye, combined with crafted typography and uncoated cold press paper stock, evoke South Carolina seashore rye and the handcrafted nature of the vodka. The brand story is featured on the back label so that all who taste the vodka can appreciate its heritage.

A key part of the growth strategy of NSI is inorganic growth through M&A. Having added two additional business units to the organization in less than one year, we needed an internal program in 2019 to create a surge of positive energy surrounding the acquisitions. This rallying cry helped to lay the groundwork for the integration process, where employees in each department and from every business unit would need to work closely together to combine operations into the Huntersville site.

To increase engagement with our brands and products at electrical distribution, we created a branded, tiered promotional marketing program in conjunction with one of our long-standing national account distributor partners. Getting CES team members involved at both the district and branch location levels, the program included time-released giveaways to align with new product launches, placing NSI brands front and center at CES locations nationwide and engaging end-users to drive demand and sales.
Editorial Rebrand
PA College of Health Sciences Magazine
PA College of Health Sciences in Lancaster, Pennsylvania built a new, modern campus with glass and steel beam architecture, prompting a rebrand of their alumni magazine to bring the publication forward into the digital space. Needing a bold yet clean feel that would stand equally well as a digital publication or in print, the solution I developed was not only to create a new masthead design, but additionally rework the department pages for a cohesive feel throughout, as well as incorporating illustration for the cover and feature story, making it stand apart from the many alumni magazines in the category that regularly feature a campus or student photo on the cover. As PA College has an exclusively Health Sciences curriculum, the cover and feature story for each issue now feature a modern take on medical illustration.

The business has increased its product portfolio exponentially by launching new products into both new and existing channels and markets since 2018, delivering nearly $20M of sales revenue in new products alone over the past three years.

Our award-winning enrollment campaign has seen a 44% increase in new applications for the Spring semester of 2018. Fall 2018 applications are already up 5% year to date and continued growth is anticipated.

Nestled in charming Milledgeville GA, Georgia College and State University was facing a downturn in enrollment as students were increasingly opting to enroll at other state universities in Georgia over a traditional liberal arts college. Our charge was to present a range of visual approaches to reimagine the brand, with messaging to redefine what a liberal arts education really means to both parents and prosective students alike. I developed three distinctly different brand refresh messaging / look and feel options to represent one big idea – The Liberal Arts Life.

National Sales Meeting 2021 – Need for Speed presented by NSI Industries
Brands faced many challenges from 2020 into early 2021 as a result of COVID-19, including finding new ways to connect with and engage employees virtually. Enter NSM2021 Need for Speed – with a fun movie-inspired theme presented as a series of sessions over a two week period – this virtual event offered the opportunity to uncover unique ways to motivate and inspire the sales team from remote locations all over the country. From fun and energizing videos, corporate swag like aviator jackets and sunglasses to a virtual happy hour and prominent industry keynote speakers, National Sales Meeting 2021 was one for the books.
